CRITICISM

Criticism: The expression of disapproval of someone or something on the basis of perceived faults or mistakes.2

  • Who remembers critical words that were said to you when you were young?

o What is the outcome of criticism now?

o What is the legacy you want to have/leave?

YOU HAVE A CHOICE: WHO ARE YOU GOING TO BE TO OTHERS?

Hebrews 3:12–13 12See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. 13But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

John 13:34–35 34A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Matthew 3:16–17 16As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
